COMMUNITY SERVICE
Marketing for a Cause
Recognizing the enormity of the challenges our society faces, our team is dedicated to making a lasting impact through various service-oriented projects. Take a look at our club's recent initiatives and consider getting involved yourself.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Salve's Chapter of AMA saw an opportunity to reach out to help its neighboring community by providing extra supplemental resources for young students as they continue to navigate at home learning in addition to collecting activities for seniors to do as they stay at home amidst the ongoing pandemic. Thanks to the help of many students, faculty, and staff AMA was able to collect 235 "Active"ity drive donations(pictured: educational books, puzzle books, notepads and pens, etc.) during our 2020 Marketing Week, all of which went to the Boys and Girls Club, Lucy's Hearth in Middletown, RI, and to senior residents at Little Sisters of the Poor in Pawtucket, RI.

SWEATSHIRT FUNDRAISER FOR THE JUDITH KEENAN SCHOLARSHIP
During Fall 2019Â we sold limited edition Salve Business Studies and Economics sweatshirts, the proceeds of which supported and fulfilled the Judith Keenan scholarship in honor of the beloved faculty member.

AMENITY AID SERVICE FIELD TRIP
Members of the chapter visited the office of Amenity Aid:Â a nonprofit (founded by Salve alum Liz Duggan '08) focused on providing essential hygiene products to local community members in need. We took a few aesthetic photos for their instagram, sorted donations, and made toiletry packages.
